Yes, it is UK locksport (with emphasis on "UK"), but people from all over the world are always welcome here.
English happens to be the language of choice as that is the most widely spoken so it makes sense for everyone to use it to communicate in.

Actually - without a question mark the sentence reads: I can use Italian or English.
