Hi all,

Im Lee from Norfolk UK, Kinda halfheartedly got into the idea of locks and the mechanics about 10 years ago with an 'Easy Pickings' 5 piece set (no idea where it is now!) but recently mooching around the tube I came across a video regarding Raimundos Bogatas. Well that was it a few hours later and an unexpected very late night im subscribed to Bill, Lawyer and Noob and forgotten who else!

Think the bug came back to bite me, currently have a couple of southord picks, some from Mr Law himself and awaiting delivery on a Mad Bob Ghost Set (already received a set of bogotas from him of course !)

Also was already getting lost on how to store my toys so with the help of a rather nice lady over on etsy have a custom handmade pick roll on the way.

So far ive managed a few cheap padlocks, S&L Rim cylinder, 5 and 6 pin S&L Euros but my latest 2 pieces im trying to crack are an ISEO Euro and a Union Assa Abloy Euro. Trying to learn a variety of bits from SPP, Raking, Rocking etc.

Glad to be here and i do hope to learn and grow with you all.

All the very best

Lee :)

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and I have done some locksmith training, but I'm always trying to improve my mechanical engineering knowledge.
I like going to locksmith training events to learn to rack more efficiently and also for the social side, but this weekend I went to a makers exhibition called Makers Central and met loads of engineers working on some cool projects, even building jet engines and droids. I bought a ProKit: https://www.accu.co.uk/en/1559-prokits and met the crazy youtuber Colin Furze: https://www.youtube.com/user/colinfurze. Well worth a visit if you like mechanical engineering.

I'm Zane, I'm new to the forum and I've just started to learn stuff via Youtube. I'm wondering if anyone can recommend good locksmith events near Birmingham that are informative but also have a good social side too.

:s_hi:

I'm new to the forum and I'm looking for the best social locksmith events in the UK. Any recommendations? I've got the very basics, but I'm only working on cheap padlocks at the moment.

Thanks,

Zane
