Bit more info about myself, I'm retired and in my early 70s,my main hobby is metal Detecting which I do every week and yes I find some interesting stuff. Been interested in this hobby for a long time so thought is about time I tried it so bought a starter pack of picks with a couple of plastic locks so obviously I need to follow the guys that know there stuff and watch the experts and do some reading. Thanks for looking.

s_laugh Nice, metal detecting has always been on my list of things to do.

I tried it when I was a kid, me and my brother found a man hole cover in a field.

Took us ages to dig it out with a stick.. :85:

Yeah my long term plan is to hang back then swoop in and take over the scene when everyone else gets too old and moves on.
