Hi everyone,
I’ve been into locksport for a few weeks now. I’m a joiner by trade and I was introduced to picking by a instructor on a gain entry refresher course. He would get his picks and a padlock out in between exercises and we sat there and messed around with them for a while with no success (he was a novice himself). This sparked my interest so I ordered a set of picks straight away (Dangerfield).
I’ve had varied success since I started. I’ve been able to open a few padlocks and Euro locks but not with any consistency.
Looking forward to becoming part of the community and enjoying the fun.

Howdy Charlietan! welc
I use a Dangerfield Praxis set as my main picks besides the homemade ones and it is a great set. If you havn't already, put some shrink tubing on the handles, or even better, glue some wood pieces on there for better grip and ease on the fingers for those long sessions =)

Welcome to the group mate. There's no better place to learn to pick a lock and the key to fitting in here is to post like a madman, even on shit you know nothing about. So dive in, ask questions, and have fun.
