Hi all!

Glad to find your forum.

I was born in Czechoslovakia. When I was a kid (8 years old?), I saw my brother explaining jiggling a padlock with a similar key to my father. I became fascinated and since then, I was looking at every piece of metal with a question--"would this fit in a lock and do what I want?"

I love lockpicking and bypassing (I read it is excluded here) and collecting all kind of related knowledge. I focus on it very strongly (otherwise I have difficulty to focus on anything else, like an ADD...:-)

I have heard good things about UKlocksport forum (from good lockpickers and impressioners). I tried some local forums (mostly dead now), Facebook groups (with varying content quality) and reddit (nice technology but I have not used myself to it so far). Finally I registered here.

What caused me to register finally?

I heard about the January challenge, I liked it and I wanted to join. It seems I missed the start so I will join the "2020 in 2020" challenge instead.

I wish I had a "welcome template" like some of the others here, saying to read the rules etc. Just do as they say! :)

There's a wealth of information on this forum and if you can't find what you're after just ask.

Don't be afraid of posting photos of locks you pick on the way as we all like pictures, no matter how easy they are to open. Everybody started somewhere and like seeing people progress. You don't have to pick a Medico to get a +1! In fact there's a whole thread on "What you didn't pick today"' :)

More than anything, have fun and keep it legal!

Glad to see you've read the rules! :)

I think I've just written my first "welcome template"

Welcome to the forums.

Starting of with a 2020 / 2020 challenge is quite impressive.

This is the mentioned pick I had made many years ago.

After that, I went on a long journey to find "good picks so that I can finally open" but when I try it today, I realize it has been actually working all the time...
