So hello to all, :s_hi:

my name is paul and ive become interested in this 'sport', bit of background, im a self employed Gas man by trade with some 15+ years behind me, and i came across one of them kits on amazon (with the practise locks) and thought lets give this a bash, and to honest ive thought about getting into locksmithery a couple of times, to run alongside fixing boilers lol. im based in middlesex and also enjoy a spot of skydiving in my spare time.

so, i managed to crack the two locks from the practise kit with ease, just ordered some more different ones, and see where i end up. all adive appreciated.

cheers!

Best advise you can get: do it. Just simply do it over and over again. And ask as much as you need and want. No-one will ever be tired of answering you. I promise! Post lots of pictures of your locks, picks, successes and defeats. :) You'll have some. :P

welcome, paul!

Although this isn't a "Locksmiths site" there is a wealth of knowledge to be had for grabs.

Practice loads, ask as many questions as you need, practice a bit more.

Now that would be a world first.
Pick a lock to open your shoot mid dive. 😉
Seriously though, don’t lick locks in use, pick it mid dive, just as long as it’s not locking your shoot.

You know I love RUKOs. But I'd never lick them. At all. Not when in use, not when in my vise... not even why they lay next to me on my pillow at night. s_laugh s_laugh s_laugh

Hi :welc:
Life is like a pubic hair on a toilet seat. Every once in a while, you get pissed off.
