Hi all,
I've been interested in locksport for a while and I want to learn more about impressioning in particular - I've seen the videos and read the books but now it's time for me to take the plunge.
I'm sure you guys will point me in the right direction with tips, advice and encouragement.
Cheers
Swisscut

Welcome to the forum mate. We have a couple of blokes on here who are very, very good at impressioning, and plenty of resources for whatever else you find yourself getting into as well. Nice to have you here, post plenty and ask lots of questions.

Thanks for the warm welcome gentlemen.
I'm gonna have a good look around the forums and see what's already been covered before I start with any newbie questions, but it's good to know there's help here if I need it.

Life is like a pubic hair on a toilet seat. Every once in a while, you get pissed off.

Glad you found your way to UKLS. I'll help you where I can.
Impressioning has been precieved as black magic but to me it's just another part of locksport.
I would like to get more people involved. I myself am at the stage where I'm researching impressioning to get a better grasp of it.
For instance: Measuring how much torque to use and how accurate my filing is.
Your name refers to a file?
