^-^ Hi Everyone,

I'm Slash,

I'm new to the forum and to lock picking in general. I have read the forum rules and Solomons great book; (thanks for writing it and making it available). I have searched the web and watched vids on Youtube and a majority of them pointed me to this community. So I would like to say Hi to everyone and I look forward to learning as much as possible.

:s_hi:

ps. I'm also new to forums, so I hope I have correctly posted this in the new member introduction section. I apologise if I have not done this correctly.

Have a quick read of the rules and etiquette section (should stop any confusion later down the line).
Next it's up to you really.

I would suggest taking a good read of Solomons guide as this is the best guide on the web (imo) :read2: :08: :
No matter what your skill set it's always a good piece of reference material to keep going back to.

Hi there mate, good to have you with us. Get some cheap locks, basic picks, and ask a million questions - there really is no better way to learn.

And +1 for working out how to make your first post.

Hey there Slash ! welc

As another fellow newbie to locksport and the forums, you're in the right place, mate. This place is a treasure-trove of knowledge and experienced pickers who are more than willing to answer questions and give advice - if you need a hand with anything or need to ask questions, just ask 'em !

:sign0144: too

Experience level : Enthusiastically but blindly poking around inside of locks with pointy bits of metal, more frustrated than not.

Hi everyone,

What a great welcome :c017:

Iv'e picked some simple padlocks with a cheap credit card set of picks, but I hope to soon purchase a SouthOrd C2010 set. I will also try and collect a range of padlocks, from simple to a little more advanced. I will post some pics and maybe some amusing attempt videos as I acquire new skills and pieces.

Thanks again for the welcome and directions to content to explore, its much appreciated. :13:

Car boot sales seem to be where the best deals are, i really envy you UK folk for having access to those.

The more the merrier, can’t wait to see what you got, and :welc:
